LIT Higher Diploma Creative Multimedia Programming 2018

As part of the evolving web technology module for the H. Dip Creative Multimedia Programming Course at Limerick Institute of Technology, we have to create a website to demonstrate how search engine optimisation works. The Creative Multimedia Course is a one year programme ran by springboard available to postgraduates who would like make a transition into the IT sector.

The course helps non-IT postgraduates develop technical and creative skills to prepare them for a career in the multimedia technology industry - an industry which there is a growing skills shortage in Ireland.

"Multimedia is content that uses a combination of different content forms such as text, audio, images, animations, video and interactive content. Multimedia contrasts with media that use only rudimentary computer displays such as text-only or traditional forms of printed or hand-produced material. Multimedia can be recorded and played, displayed, interacted with or accessed by information content processing devices, such as computerized and electronic devices, but can also be part of a live performance. Multimedia devices are electronic media devices used to store and experience multimedia content."Source

This course allows individuals to use their creative flair and technical ability to produce innovative digital products, such as dynamic responsive websites, videos and 3D Animations. It also allows students to develop their design skills through using design software such as Adobe Creative Suite, Balsamiq, and Axure.
