What is Interaction design?

Interaction design is a process in which designers focus on creating engaging web interfaces with logical and thought out behaviors and actions. Successful interactive design uses technology and principles of good communication to create desired user experiences. This subject is an introduction to interactive design and entails analysing and solving usability design problems, and creating interactive media while applying the principles of interactive design.

Some of the content covered in this module includes design principles, web design protocol and procedures and other User Experience fundamentals. Practical classes for this subject also gives students the opportunity to develop their skills with Adobe Creative Suite software such as Photoshop and Illustrator.
